|List of Chapters|
Hanauta Nagaruru, (花唄流るる lit. Overhearing a Flower Song) is the first manga collection in a tankōbon short story collection of the Hotarubi no Mori e Manga, which included four romantic one-shot stories written by Yuki Midorikawa.
Set during the spring, the first story Hanauta Nagaruru begins when Shima overhears a tender guitar melody coming from inside an abandoned school building. She later hears Fujimura, an unpopular boy with a rough demeanor, humming the tune as she passes him in the hall at school. Shima's curiosity leads her to discover that Fujimura is teaching a close female friend, Noguchi, how to play the guitar in the abandoned building.
Shima is invited to join them, and takes up guitar lessons under Fujimura, who cannot play due to a hand injury. Shima's fascination with the guitar soon develops into a fascination with Fujimura and his troubled past. As their feelings develop for each other, Fujimura faces his insecurities and learns to express himself with Shima.
